Councils and other organisations are invited to share information and learning about developing and sustaining ULOs, on the National Center for Independent Living (NCIL) website.
The NCIL is a not for profit organisation run and controlled by disabled people with the aim of promoting independent living. It provides a wide range of services including support and information on direct payments.
The organisation works with the DH and other policy makers, and campaigns to improve the rights of disabled people.
