Fall in social worker vacancy rates

Social worker vacancy rates in councils across Britain have fallen from 10% in 2010 to 8% this year, according to Community Care Magazine.
The finding, from its third annual Freedom of Information investigation, shows the average rate in children’s services has dropped from12% to 8%, while reduction in the adult services is lower, dropping from 10% to 9%.
The magazine features an interactive map showing results for each council.
