JIP e-bulletin No 30 June 2012

For the past year, the JIP which is the adult social care programme board for Improvement and Efficiency West (IEWM), has continued working with ADASS West Midlands on transforming care services in the region.

We’re pleased to say the West Midlands has been at the forefront of a number of nationally recognised high profile pieces of work ranging from alternatives to treatment and assessment centres for people with learning disabilities, to communicating with the public about the transition of care from Southern Cross.

Our partnership with ADASS has provided extra capacity and resources to stimulate and co-ordinate a wide range of activities, progress against each of our strategic priorities are detailed in the ADASS West Midlands annual report 2011/12. (insert link)

We look forward to continuing our work with ADASS, as we head towards what promises to be a period of profound change, and will keep you posted on developments in the JIP e-bulletin.
